Guest
In my 12'x 28' with very high sloped ceiling room, the 303a's are 58" from the front wall and 3' from the side walls on 14" AR stands. Even pulled out this far into the room I get +10 db readings at 40,63 and 80 Hz, +8 db's at 100 Hz and +5 db's at 160 Hz using Rat Shack SPL with conversion chart. Just wondering what the experiences of other forum members are.
Guest
Below is a link to the individual response curves for the Ar 303a in my listening room. 14" stands, wrap around measurement from center of woofer cone to rear wall average abour 48" (speakers are angled inward), distance to side wall for left speaker about 9 ft, for right speaker 3 and 6 ft (small closet in corner of room looks like this)---------------------------- | | | | | | --------- ------- | right | | | speaker| | | ------- | | |The sine wave in the curve between about 400 and 1000Hz is due to listening chair influence. Dip at 30Hz is due to chair location in room.http://members.cox.net/chethelms/303a%20re...se%20curves.JPG
