I would strongly suggest you keep the AR drivers, and not go with some off brand.Restored you should be able to get around $200 for them. A bit more if you upgrade the caps and internal wiring. The inductors are good.To drive them, something like an Adcom 545, 545 II or 5400 amp works pretty well. Guest Posted March 25, 2002 Report Share Posted March 25, 2002 Hey all, I just found some old AR92n cabinets in the dumpster by my work (yes, I dive occasionally). They appear to be in great shape, except the foam around the 10" woofers is rotted out. I don't know much about these cabinets, just trying to determine if it would be worth it to replace the woofers.
