Guest crusty
To anyone that may be interested, I have for sale a pair of Boston Acoustics model A150 series 3 loudspeakers. These speakers are as close to mint condition as your likely to find. They are the last models produced and have all poly coned drivers, 10" woofer, 3.5 inch midrange, 1 inch tweeter.2 years ago the woofer surrounds were beginning to deteriorate, I contacted the BA service tech and was told a replacment woofer was still available, so I bought and replaced the woofers in both cabinets. They are an exact replacment. At time I had the woofers out of the cabinets, I decided to make some mild mods, which included lining the cabinets with damping sheets sold by Parts Express, also I glued wood blocks to the inside of the front baffles and used screws identical to the originals but longer, to hold the woofers in place, thus giving a tighter seal. All drivers are sealed using OEM foam gaskets. The original terminals on back were the spring clip types, I replaced these with an identical size terminal cup, but the terminals are binding posts. None of the mods altered the outward appearance. The cabinets and grill cloth are in very good condition.I also have the original boxes and manuals. I would prefer not to ship but will if the buyer pays for it. I'm asking $350.00 OBO2283.txt
Guest jamwvu
Hello, why did your woofers need replaced? Do you know the differences between the series I, II and III models? Since shipping costs won't be cheap, will you accept $200 for the pair and I would pay whatever the shipping would be?

Untouchable_888
A friend gave these same speakers to me, but I am having trouble figuring out what I need to look for in a power amp? i can't find the wattage information for the speakers.. I'd like to properly power these and not ruin them!
