Guest Posted December 12, 2001 Report Share Posted December 12, 2001 Help needed, what's the deal with these old AR-1 speakers? I have one that is sealed with a serial number 5399. I have seen some others that people have butchered to get at the 755A driver. Why is this? Weren't all of the 2 way AR-1 speakers from this era (anyone know what exact year from the serial number?) fitted with the 755A driver? What's up with those speaker butchers anyway?
