I have mine about 6 feet apart, 1 foot off the wall, and about 8 feet from the listening position (which is against the opposite wall - it's a rather narrow room ;-). It's amazing the bass depth those little 4-1/2 "woofers" can produce in that cabinet. I recently ran across a referrence to an "EQ" box that was apparently meant to be used with these, but I don't have any additional info on that. Don't even recall where I read it.
