Guest golfnut
I have a pair of EPI 100's that I purchased in 1981. The foam around the woofers needs replacing. Do these speakers have any value? What is the cost to repair?
Guest rickcee
For me - IF the cabinet finish is real walnut veneer in reasonably good shape - yes indeed. guessing - $30. per - theres an EPI Genessis site - links Rick
Guest golfnut
They are 100V's. Is "$30 per" the value or the repair cost?
Guest saea501
You can buy surround replacements for 20$-$30 a pair and do the work yourself. In good condition the speakers are going about $120/pair on ebay.
fixtillbroke
Do it yourself or get someone to do it. The EPI 100's I have play all day long in my shop and I never get tired of their sound. The components all match seamlessly. With the vinyl cabs I don't have to baby them. There's a reason they outsold everything else in their day. Here's a link for the kit I recommend.http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showdetl.cf...tnumber=260-
