Guest ljb Posted December 2, 2004 Report Share Posted December 2, 2004 I'm refurbishing a pair of the "New" Advent Model 1's. Does anyone have a recomendation for replacing the capacitors? The one I can read is marked for 13 mfd and measures as such. The other speaker I can't see the markings, and measures about 14 mfd. Since this is an unusual size, would a 12 mfd be close enough, or should I try to get closer with a pair of capacitors in parallel? Also, there is a 2 ohm resistor in series with the capacitor.
