Guest Posted April 15, 2002 Report Share Posted April 15, 2002 Has anyone heard of an Advent/9? I just saw a pair in a thrift shop recently for 7.5 US. Its cabinet measures about the same size as the small advent except much lighter. On the back I also saw the model "AR 4006" stamped on it. I saw it has a cone tweeter on top and an eight or ten inch paper cone woofer on the bottom. The metal encasing for the woofer does not look like the other advents, coated in black and the foam is rotted. The front grill is removable; it has the same cloth as the advent/1 and the small advent except the ADVENT logo is place on the middle bottom instead of to the bottom left.Is this worth buying?ThanksCharles Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
