Guest Pickles
I was forced to move my Model Sixes, and somehow one of the nuts on the wire terminals wiggled itself off, and is nowhere to be seen. Are the nuts for the terminals just a standard size? Could I just go to a hardware store and find one to fit, or are they something ridiculous like metric and 30TPI that I cannot possibly find in the states? Thanks in advance. Guest matty g
Hi - Those are just #8-32 studs back there, a commonly available #8-32 nut and washer should do well. If you look in the screen door hardware section you might even find an 8-32 knurled nut that will work (they use them for screen door windows sometimes). If all they have is aluminum, I would opt for a steel nut and washer. You might even have something like that sitting around there. #8 is the stud size and 32 is the thread size. Hook those babies back up! Matt
