AR 3a woofer(s)

I am in the process of rebuilding a pair of AR 3a speakers that I've owned from day one.

I have new Dynaudio mids, and tweeters.

I have rebuilt the crossovers (Layne Audio).

Now to the woofers.

I have one old/original woofer. It needs refoaming.

I'm left wondering what to do.

Do I refoam the one I have and look for a mate?

Do I forget about the old one and buy two new

ones? (Where's the best place to buy?)

Are poly replacements better than the paper cones?

Please, I could use a little help here.

Any and all thounghts/comments are welcome.

If there is someone who can help me think "outside

the box" I appreciate those comments too.

I would go back to Layne for a pair of replacements, he might take your one in trade.
