Guest
I am in the process of rebuilding a pair of AR 3a speakers that I've owned from day one.I have new Dynaudio mids, and tweeters.I have rebuilt the crossovers (Layne Audio). Now to the woofers.I have one old/original woofer. It needs refoaming.I'm left wondering what to do.Do I refoam the one I have and look for a mate?Do I forget about the old one and buy two newones? (Where's the best place to buy?)Are poly replacements better than the paper cones? Please, I could use a little help here.Any and all thounghts/comments are welcome. If there is someone who can help me think "outsidethe box" I appreciate those comments too.TIADavid
Guest
Hi David;I would go back to Layne for a pair of replacements, he might take your one in trade.Nigel
