Andy
Anyone know what if any connection their might have been between these two....Both went to MIT, bothwere in Cambridge, MA in the 50s & made high quality components, and there are many similarities in the Scott tuner and KLH's model Eight tuner section, both also use the planitary tuning dial. Guest tafpyper
I would assume they knew each other; they certainly were familiar with each other's products.I remember a 2 page ad run by H.H.Scott in the late 50's or early 60's showing how a certain model Scott receiver could easily drive a battery of 40 KLH 6's lined up against a wall. As I recall H.H. Scott & daniel Von Recklinghausen, his chief engineer, were in the photo as well. I don't believe Henry Kloss was present. Shortly afterward Scott introduced their own line of speakers.
