One woofer was seized, and when I removed it I discovered that the 'sandwiched' magnet had split completely and being loose, had pinched the coil and seized it. Didn't know speaker magnets did that. Maybe bad gluing at the factory ??? Otherwise, I am rather pleased with the model five's solid construction and am considering restoring these interesting and nostalgic spkrs to working condition.
