Carlspeak Posted May 12, 2002 Report Share Posted May 12, 2002 Does anyone know anything about the switches in these speakers? What kind are they? Are they 1 pole? 2 pole? 3 pole? How many positions?Are they designed to work interactively? or, does each work within its own frequency range? The lit. says the mids operate from 2.5Khz to 7 Khz then the tweeter takes over from there. Is that the case?Any info would be helpful. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Guest Posted May 13, 2002 Report Share Posted May 13, 2002 I have a pair of Model 5's. The switches are three position. They are labelled "decrease/normal/increase". One switch affects the midrange drivers, which it says on the back covers 2500 to 7000 cps. The other affects the tweeter, which covers above 7000 cps.
