dynaco_dan Posted October 10, 2007 Report Share Posted October 10, 2007 I just found an old note from pre 1974.It is un-dated and does not have the AR logo on it.I believe that it was handwritten by, Tony, the service manger of the local AR warantee depot, at that time.It is not a major find but it is a piece of missing information.The note reads that, the Altec tweeter's were no longer available and to convert future AR-1 tweeter repairs to AR-1X's.We were to use (adapter plates?), do not remember ever seeing one, with the AR-4X tweeter.The AR-4 tweeter was not even mentioned in the note.That is all for now.
