ar91 woofers

Hi, I just bought a pair of ar91 speakers for $20. The woofers do not seem to be working, I took them out and see tears in the surrounds. My question, while they were connected I touched the surround and the subwoofer did start to work but as soon as I let go it stopped playing. Do you think a simple refoam is all it needs or are the woofers blown? One of the mid-drivers cone is pushed in, but it seems to play fine. Reason being that if I have to buy new drivers they are almost the same as price as buying a pair of ar303's.

Something is loose or partially disconnected there. Perhaps a bad voice coil. The cones should move whether there is foam rot or not and not while being 'touched'.

Is it really the cone or, just the dust cap?

It's all about the music
