Guest kevemaher
I just opened a pair of AR-2ax speakers that I bought on ebay. They appear to be the "newer" version as the woofer has 4 bolts and the surrounds are foam and one is cracked in seversl places. On one speaker, something was rattling around inside the cover. I pulled the cloth cover off and the tweeter fell out! It had been epoxied in and apparently rattled out during shipment to me. It appears that the electrical contacts are clips on the left and right of the tweeter enclosure. Is this the stock mounting? Can I just epoxy the tweeter back in? What do I do to make sure that the electrical contacts are good? Thanks,Kevin
