KlausDK
Can anyone explain, why and how the weight of LST speakers dropped 8 kg in the latest version? If you look at the three brochures/flyers for AR LST in the library, the two first ones states the weight to be 40.5 kg/speaker, whereas the 3rd states the weight to be only 32.5 kg. Apart from the obvious fact, that they are easier to handle, I wonder what was left out? Best Regards Klaus

The 40.5 kg. weight (90 lbs) is the gross shipping weight of each speaker, boxed; the 32.5. kg weight (72.25 lbs) is the speaker weight itself. The LST was always listed as 90 lbs without this explanation, for some reason.Note, too, that in one brochure the LST is shown with AR-11 tweeters, but it was never produced that way.--Tom Tyson
