Guest
Hey,Wondering if anyone has info on a pair of speakers circa 1968. Japanese made and bought. "Living Audio" on the name plate. Made by Crysler Electronics in Japan. Model CE-1A. Nice three-ways. 10" woofers. They seem extremely well made. Nice walnut veneer cabinets. All drivers still perfect. Controls for treble and mid. Grille and posts ahead of their time. I finished rehab-ing both this weekend, and the sound is very impressive. I have a hunch this is a speaker company that later changed names...any info appreciated.Dave
glen
This seems to be the speaker you're talking about:http://audio-database.com/CRYSLER/speaker/ce-1a-e.htmlI have a stereo pair of "Chrysler" speakers from the early 60's in shiny black laquer standing up on angled legs. Not sure if they're the same company.
