AR-11 (original) upgrades

I found two slightly battered AR-11s at a Goodwill for $18.

Aside from cosmetic damage to one of the cabinets, the only

thing wrong with 'em were the predictable rotted woofer

surrounds which were easily repaired.

I replaced the midrange and tweeter capacitors with Solens;

everything else is stock.

They sound just fine, though I'm wondering if there's anything

I could do to further improve them. Has anyone done redesigns

of the crossovers to reflect more recent design practices, such

as Zobel networks?
