AR 94sx rebuild project

With the help of my electrical engineer (and audiophile) roommate, I have undertaken a rebuild of my 17 year old 94sx speakers. Have dug up numerous caps and working off the following web article (http://www.tnt-audio.com/clinica/ar94rebuild_e.html).

Knowing my crossover design is different, my roommate and I will do some trial and error on that with various caps we have at our disposal. The more immediate need is that one of the tweeters is functioning very poorly and needs to be replaced.

Two questions for you folks:

-Should I just replace the one or pair?

-Where might be the best place to go for replacement drivers? Seems AB Tech in Mass comes recommended?

Hi Vijoy;

If you are only going to buy a new tweeter, then you should buy 2 as they are not exactly the same as the existing one.

This will provide as close a match as possible to each other.

You may wish to check out ebay and look for an earlier used match though.
