1974 AR-3a pictures & question

In topic 8726, Ed asked if I would post pictures of the grill cloth and front baffle of my 1974 AR-3a's (serial 94072 & 94084), thinking that they may be of some help in determining when the transition to the back-wired tweeter (and less sonically transparent grill cloth) occured. Some shots of serial 94072 are attached.

Transparency-wise, which type does my grill cloth look like? It appears to be a nearly hairless linen of about 26 threads per inch.

Hi Bob;

I am not sure which is the precise description, but, flecked beige linen or just beige linen is what I see in your great shots.
