Guest Ross Posted February 20, 2006 Report Share Posted February 20, 2006 I have a pair of AR5's. The cabinets are in rough shape. The rheostats on the mid and tweeter need a good cleaning. The woofers were replaced with Peerless drivers that pretty much exactly matched the AR drivers that were in there. (I didn't know that you could just replace the foam in them) I have all the original paperwork and boxes. Should I try to sell these whole? - who's gonna pay shipping on them. They're HEAVY!! I want to get as much $$ out of them as I can. >Suggestions?Hi there;The woofers will have no real value here, persay.The tweeters, mids and crossovers are saleable, usually, depending on their physical condition, photos are great at this point for further advice.If you can take numerous photos, in all positions, including the cabinets, more advice will come.
