Guest rbferrell Posted February 18, 2006 Report Share Posted February 18, 2006 The attached image shows my solution to protecting the torn, folded and wrinkled serial number labels on my 1974 AR-3a's. I used a piece of 1/8" Lexan from Home Depot plus some #4 x 1/2" brass wood screws. The number of screws may seem overkill, but it took all of them to press the label fully FLAT.
