Guest postjob62
Hello all,Can anyone tell me if the 3/4" tweeter is the same in the TSW series 110,210,310,410,510 and 610?All I can find is the brochure in the library in which the written description seems identical, although the crossover points do vary.Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,Ed
Guest postjob62
As a followup to my own question, is there any acceptable replacement tweeter which will work within the plastic housing and sound correct without other mods?Ed
Guest AR-MST-PICCO
Hi,The vintage AR 3/4 tweeter specification is similar to AR TSW titanium series tweeter. Both of them contained magnet fluid liquid cool design. The crossover cut off point is above 2khz.Please find below my personal opinon for reference. The sound of new Titanium Tweeter is very sharp. If you are using solid state amp, you will feel not comfortable. I used Vitamium Q oil cap to hardening. The result is fine. Please see below picture. The picture contained 2 units of AR tweeters. It is easy to identify the vintage AR Tweeter, The cone is look like a nipple.I am a real Vintage AR fans. It is hard find AR fans in Hong Kong.
