aquila2010
Do you know the EXACT gauge wire of the inductors used in AR 3a, LST and 10 PI? Could you please express it also in mm? thank you
johnieo
The AR-3a inductors were wound with 17-gauge wire. The wire diameter without insulation is 0.0453 inches; with insulation it is typically 0.0469 inches. You will need a micrometer to identify the wire.Inductors used in the AR-1, -3, -4, and -4x were also wound with #17 gauge wire. One might assume it is the same in the AR-2 series. I have no experience with the other two speakers you mention.
