Guest ctweedy Posted March 27, 2005 Report Share Posted March 27, 2005 Well I got a pair of AR94s from goodwill for $10 and refoamed and re-capped them for another $40. So, for $50 I was very impressed how these sounded. They can take lots of clean power and play any kind of music with ease. They use a paper tweeter, but they do sound nice witht the tein doped woofers. I cant think of a pair of speakers I could go to Best Buy and get now that could compete less than $1000.
