Guest 4homer
I've got some AR 93 stored for 5-10 years now and am thinking of refurbishing. As I remember there were blown tweeters and one midrange blown. I would expect to have to refoam everything, but what about internal electronics, ie, crossovers? Is this a project worth the effort and $$ to restore? I bought them used 20 years ago, so I don't know their complete history. Advice welcome. How are the cabinets? the xovers should be fine but if in doubt, test the caps. Parts are still available and you can find them sometimes on eBay. It depends on your taste and ears but the 93's were a good sound. Dale in Reno.....
Guest 4homer
Thanks. The cabinets are perfect. Is there an explanation of how to check those caps on this site?

Disconnect one lead of the cap being tested and crank up the tester. Dale
