Guest brian o
I have a pair of ar 302t's , the mids just went on them, Both of them in a short time, they were never abused, just getting a lot of static.Do I assume they are shot or could it be something in the crossovers?I took them out and was surprised at the cheap build, not like AR products from the 60's and 70's. I know I can contact AB Tech but I'm a little shy about replacing them with another pair of questionable quality mids.Any direction would be greatly appreciated.ThanksBrian O

Guest Nigel
>of them in a short time, they were never abused, just getting a>lot of static.Brian;Static is abusive to mid and higher range drivers. Typically static is white noise, which has equal power across the frequency distribution. Music is more like pink noise.
