Has anyone come across this situation on Model Twenty-Four? One of the 8" woofers has two square magnets (see pics). The other woofer has only one magnet. They sound different from each other.
The serial numbers match 070356 &359. Both speaker cabinets have screw terminals on the back plate. I have not yet upgraded the caps. The single-magnet woofer is dated Dec. 2, 1969. No date on the double-stack woofer.
Any info on the woofer configuration is greatly appreciated. I would like to replace the single magnet woofer with a double-stack to match them up - if I can find one.
