In the 3a restoration PDf produced By Thiel (sic), Thiel/Small parameters, and others, he says for the later ceramic woofer use 20 ounces of fiberglass; for the earlier woofer with cloth surround and Alnico magnet, he says to use 28 to 30 ounces of fiberglass. Pink or yellow should be fine as I have read that the colors are proprietary. For example, Owens Corning uses a pink color. As far as rating, or R values, I don't think it matters as I would assume if you are using, say an R6 value as opposed to an R9 value, you would just need to use more of the R6 to get the required weight, either 28-30 ounces for the early woofer, or 20 ounces for the later woofer. At least that seems to make sense to me.
