Question: I haven't changed any settings on the Q panel on my Model One since I got them.
What would be an ideal configuration based on the room they are in;
room dimensions:
in feet: 12 x 20, ceiling 8
metres: 3.6576 x 6.096, ceiling 2.4384Speakers/stands are:
in feet: 5 forward of the back wall, 2 away from side walls, 12 from speakers to the seating position
metres: 1.524 forward of the back wall, 0.6096 away from side walls, 3.6576 from speakers to the seating position. Also, since I'm currently running them with subwoofers, would it require a different configuration?

Amazing work, thanks.

Do you have any photos of the KA-1s? Did you ever have the KA-1 with your sub within a HiFi 2 channel audio setup?
I've heard about the KA-18, but since they seem so super rare I also don't see any being available locally. I also see quite a few Cizek in Italy, and on YouTube, which is nice. I was happy to find the Model 1 locally.
I'm curious about the KA-1 as I'd wonder if they sound better with subs than a Model 3?

I currently have my Cizek Model 1 on stands and paired with a set of subs in the room and they sound fantastic.
But I read somewhere that the Model 3 were more appropriate with subs. And I wonder how the KA-1 pair with subs. Has anyone had the opportunity to hear these with this configuration? And possibly a set of Model 1s, even on their own. If so which sounded better? And where were the speakers placed within the room?

A friend told me the Model 3's with the subs sounds better overall than the One's or 2's alone. I may be able to get model 3's, but I won't do that unless I have a pair of Cizek subs as well, which I doubt as they are super rare. But it would be a fun project one day.

Both Cizek MG-27 subs are finished !!
The four woofers are on the cabinets with new seals, the cabinets rewashed and cleaned, the grids washed, the subs are now connected to a Technics SU-V8 amp and have been playing for four hours continuously !!
The 27Hz claimed by Roy Cizek all feel ... MG-27 sub is simply definitive.Ciao Giorgio, fantastic work. After I got my Model One's I learned more about Cizek speakers and I was curious about also getting a pair of Model 3's and one sub. But I don't see the subs for sale anywhere near me. Please show us more pictures when your stereo setup is completed and also how they sound. How does this compare with just a pair of Model One's?

I actually have 3 receivers, all from 1976; Sansui 9090, Kenwood KR-9600 and a Technics SA-5760. I also just acquired a NAD 1000 pre-amp and 2 NAD 2200 power amps. The tuner in the pictures is a Kenwood KT-7300 and works through the Sansui as the FM radio does not work. I also just acquired a Yamaha T-85 Tuner. I listen to analogue radio almost every day. And it works even when the Wi-Fi does down....

Thanks Giorgio. Yes I'm enjoying these speakers very much. I've played all types of music from Prog and Heavy Rock to Jazz to Classical to Motown, everything sounds outstanding. I had a friend listen to the Phil Collins song In The Air Tonight...when the drums finally came in they filled the room, very deep and punchy. He did not expect the speakers to deliver sound that big.

Hey all,
I was fortunate enough to meet another audiophile who had a pair of Cizek Model One's and he informed me of their history. Shortly after I bought a used pair for sale locally from the original owner who bought them at a HiFi store locally in 1976. I had another friend refoam them.
They sit on a pair of used Osiris Audionics stands (100lbs (45kg) each filled). After breaking them in for a bit I have to say they punch way above their size and weight. I've had friends over and each has said they feel that they are listening to much larger speakers. Very happy with these speakers. My other speakers are Genesis Physics Model III from 1978.

Still going strong and sounding better than ever with this new room and configuration.
