  1. This is the older model Tempest with the Phillips "eye ball" tweeter and cloth surround
Eminence woofers, not the later LS-4/5/8 with the Heil tweeters.  Not that the grilles are
nailed on and do not come off easily.  These are quite heavy, about 45lbs each.
Good condition, some scratches on the back of one speaker and a few nicks elsewhere.

    Specs from HiFiEngine:
Type: 2 way, 2 driver loudspeaker system
    Frequency Response: 35Hz to 18kHz
    Power Handling: 200W
    Recommended Amplifier: 20W (minimum)
    Crossover Frequency: 1500Hz
    Impedance: 4 ohm
    Bass: 12" cone
    Tweeter: 4" linear excursion
    Finish: walnut
    Dimensions: 27 x 15.5 x 12.25 inches

$140     Local pickup only, these are quite heavy.

New member here, and current member of the FB Vintage Hifi and Stereo Enthusiasts and Vintage KLH Audio groups.  I've been collecting 70's era KLH for years with a particular interest in the Research Ten series.  I own the following models: CB-6, CB-8, CB-10, CB-10x, CB-12, CL-3, CL-4a, Classic 5, SCX-2, CT-38 Pistol, and CT-44 Magnum.  Still trying to track down the CB-430, Classic One, SCX-3 and Classic Four.  There was also a Research X Model 60 turntable, btw.
