abrasiveguy
I want to replace the 6uf capacitors in my AR3a's but am confused about the soldering procedure. Are the wire leads on the capacitors made of aluminum? If so, can they be soldered directly to stranded copper wire? I would like to use the existing wires from the "wax box" capacitor to simplify the installation. All of the soldering flux that I have looked at states that it should not be used on aluminum...what is the solution?? Any "how to" advice would be very helpful and greatly appreciated.
