jayrosc
If you are reading this then you probably know what Allison binding posts are like. Well, one of mine on a pair of Fours seems to be stripped. The red plastic knob just spins freely once only moderately tightened. Anyone know a fix for this? I don't want to get into installing new posts!!!!
JKent
I've owned 5 Allison: Fours. Early ones had crappy binding posts with non-standard spacing. Later ones had 5-way binding posts with 3/4" OC spacing. If you don't have the 5-ways, I'd change them. -Kent

Never worked on the Four, but I would think removal of the woofer should provide easy enough access to the crossover. Once the threads are stripped replacement is the way to go.
