ra.ra Posted August 1, 2016 Report Share Posted August 1, 2016 By all appearances, those just might be very nice 8" woofers, but they are most definitely not the original woofer from any version of AR-18 as the seller has stated. They date from late '69 and early '70, and the "137" designation does indeed refer to CTS. This same number does show up on most of my 8" woofers from speakers in the AR-4 series, so yes, AR did use drivers manufactured by CTS. Pic of woofer in question is attached for posterity.
