Guest Sweden
Hello, my wife has inheritated a pair of AR-6. The foam was more or less gone.So I cleaned the cone and the basket (the steel-part). On the steel part, the old foam was glued on top of a layer of some kind of thick paper. I had to remove that layer all the way down to the steel. Then I ordered the foam. It's not any AR original. It's JBL I think. It's not easy to find exact foam in Sweden.and my questions are:1. Should I just glue the new foam dÃrectly on to the steel or should I first get some kind of replacement for the paper-part I had to remove?2. If I should have paper, what kind of paper should I use?ThanksRickard
