audiomagnate Posted May 3, 2016 Report Share Posted May 3, 2016 I've been searching for a while and can't find an on-line (or brick and mortar if need be) source for suitable replacement cloth for the KLH Model Five. The one owner pair I found sound wonderful but they were "modernized" with black grill cloth in the 90's. I have a source for the black undercloth, it's the beige stuff I can't find. JKent Posted May 3, 2016 Report Share Posted May 3, 2016 Two thoughts on this: 1. Leave the black undercloth off. Why put an extra layer between you and the music? 2. I had a pair of Fives and the cloth seems to be unobtainium. However, the linen fabric restorers use on AR speakers looks good. When I restored a pair of KLH Twelves (big brother to the Five) I could not find the boucle cloth so I used linen from 123 Stitch.
