boreas
The speakers seem unmolested and the XO looks as if it was always like this. This is my third set of Seventeens and the first two sets had the same XO design as that in the Model 6. These on the other hand, have a single (tiny) 8uF 50v NP cap per speaker. I don't think it's a late change since I believe these fall in between the other two sets I've owned and both those sets had the usual XO.Serial numbers on these are 106606 and 106640. My early set were numbers 012758 and 017303. I don't recall the serial numbers of my other set but they had black XO plates which I believe marks them as later.Meanwhile, without looking inside, I ordered the same assortment of caps I've used before. Oh, well! At least I can use some of them.Has anyone ever seen a Seventeen XO like this before? I know that the Twenty-Threes use a single 4uF(?) cap so I guess there's a precedent with KLHs. Also, does anyone see any reason to redo the XOs in the same way as other Seventeens? Thanks!John

Sorry for the false alarm!JohnPS: the drivers are marked October 1968 and April 1969. One of the tweeters was made on my birthday.
