Guest djmccreadie
Can anyone tell me what model number my 1980's era A & R speakers are; the number on the back says DR68746 (L) DR 68747 ®. I have tried looking up the number and cannot find a match. Is there something I am missing? Thanks for your help.
Guest Brian_D
I'm not sure I know of an A & R manufacturer. The Acoustic Research (or Teledyne Acoustic Research judging by the vintage of your speakers) badge is AR, no ampersand. (&)Perhaps if you described the speaker; driver sizes and orientation, cabinet finish and grille material, etc. This would assist in determining what model these speakers are, if they are AR.-Brian
Guest djmccreadie
Sorry, my mistake. In the UK we used to refer to the speakers as A&R. In reality the name on the speakers is AR the numbers were as stated in previous e mail. Any help you can provide would be much appreciated. Also, I'm curious, I have been trying to locate an active web address for AR and have had no luck. Any thoughts?djmccreadie
