xmas111
Just scooped these from the bay.http://www.ebay.com/...cvip=true&rt=ncI've never seen outer decorative rings like these have.I hoping I didn't get some odd ball woofers.Part number 200003 is the correct number for the 12" woofers, right..... Guess I'll refoam and have a backup set.Hopefully these should work in the 9's and LST's if needed.John
JKent
no problemThose are AR-91 woofers. Take a look at my AR-91 thread: http://www.classicspeakerpages.net/IP.Board/index.php?showtopic=6565#entry94977Kent

ar_pro
Yes, those are decorative rings from the AR-91, and the woofers are identical to those used in the AR-9.
xmas111
I assume they are identical to those used in the LST's too.John
ironlake
These speakers are for the ar 1 and 3 and early 3a and not for the 91. The alnico magnets with the cloth surround and the extra foam damping ring where only used on these early models and are great speakers. I would not change to foam surrounds, try these first as they look good.
ar_pro
John - I'm not aware of any significant re-design of the woofers for the AR-9/91 systems, and would imagine they'd work just fine in your LST.

ironlake
I had just looked at a great 3 woofer on ebay and it must have been in my mind or something screwy like that to answer that way. I do remember I did not see those woofers on the thread though. Must have been asenior moment.

ironlake
In my opinion they have the best bass of the entire lot. Smooth and deep and the alnico magnet is heavier than the ceramic by weighing on the scale and gives a smoother deep bass.
