kultamine
After 7 years of separation and my pair of 1290's surviving a sucession of renters while I was abroad, we are back together. They were not in too bad of shape, grills a bit dinged and a the tweeters pushed in. Used duct tape to pull them out and straightened the grills best I could and they look and sound great. Paired up with a Onkyo TX-NR-809 in combination with Klipsch HD1000 5+1 to make a 7.1 system. In looking for my Nakamichi manual for an OMS-3A CD player, I came across the original brochure for the L1290. Had to compress, so quality is not great. Let me know if you want the higher resolution. Or if you want the owner's manual which will take a while to scan in. Also found the receipt and surprised myself how incredibly much I paid for these in May of 1987 by mail order from Audio Elite in Manasha, WI. They have been entirely worth i and i would buy another pair in a heartbeat.ADS L1290 Digital Monitor Speakers Brochure 319-0086 1985.pdf
