They were made in Windsor and South Windsor CT. in the 80's and early 90's.The JSE had a whole line of models, each having the Modifari INfinite Slope Crossover design. I beleive the technical brains behind both brands was the same gentlemen, John Solecito, now affiliated with Source Technologies http://www.sourcespeaker.com/I'm doing some repair work on a pair of Clarke Systems Precedent II speakers and will provide more info as it is developed.
