Tom H.
We recently refoamed a pair of 10pi woofers. I didn't feel good about not getting my fingers behind the screens. I wanted to make sure I could press the back of the cone against the back if the new foam so it would adhere well. I got around this by paritally cutting out the screens and re-gluing them when I was done. Is this really necessary? I'm sure it's really important to get a good bond between the foam and cone material. I have a couple of other pairs of 2ax woofers to do soon. Is there another trick to doing this? Thanks, Tom
JKent
Hi TomI did not find it necessary to cut the screens when refoaming my 2ax's. Take a look at the step-by-step instructions here:http://www.citlink.net/~msound/refoam/Kent
