ar_pro
My nephew is getting set to sell his pair of AR-94 speakers - they've been stored for a few years, and the foam surrounds are now shot (of course!). His question is whether to re-foam the systems first (four 8" drivers), or sell them in their current condition...any thoughts on which approach would be the most cost-effective? Guest Nigel
Hi;It is going to run between $40 and $60 plus labour to refoam them. They will probably fetch $75 to $100 without refoaming, and $100 to $150 with refoaming. There was a pair of refoamed AR92's on ebay recently that did not sell at $150.Nigel
