frankmarsi
8-12-09To all concerned members, please see if anyone can make more sense of this offer than I can.I had been in email contact with this site a number of weeks ago, but nothing ever became of it, my fault or theirs, I'm not sure.It promises a better foam/cloth surround specifically for AR woofers? My hope is to see how far anyone else gets and if results prove encouraging, then we may all benefit.I'll kept my fingers crossed, long live the... my woofers.FMHeres the site; http://speakrrs.com/4701/index.htmlFurther reading, http://www.audiokarma.org/forums/showthread.php?t=238438Some people are really in too vintage stuff, an AR fan should never feel that he is alone.http://www.gallagher.com/ebay.htm
Carlspeak
The name sounds familiar - sofsurround. I believe that product was for sale awhile back on ebay and then dissapeared. There was a thread here on the ebay product that included pictures of the product. Here is the linkhttp://www.classicspeakerpages.net/IP.Boar...amp;hl=surroundIt may be the same product being ressurected. After reading the copy listed at the link Frank M. supplied to the site touting these surrounds, I'm not impressed....... No pictures, no data.Frank, where/how did you hear about this still-developing website?BTW, standard foam surrounds available today will last well beyond our lifetimes. In terms of rubber and synthetics, car tires do last longer, but they're in a whole other league. Thanks for the reply just the same. Although I've never purchased from you, I can sleep well at night knowing that you're there if I need you.FM
Carlspeak
Hi Frank:So, where/how did you hear about this "new" product? If it is indeed the same one sold before on ebay, I suggest you read the Roy C. post at the link I provided above. Then again, maybe they want back to the drawing board and redesigned the product. We'll see I guess.
