I am very interested in understanding what were Mr. Snell"s principles when designing his speakers. Is there any source of a writing of his where he defines his design objectives?

Just wondering what is the basis of your interest, have/do you own them?

Are you looking for modern speakers with similar design intent?

You might find a few interviews on the net.

I don't own them, I've heard them and I liked them. I have been building speakers for over 10 years, therefore my interest.

Here is a write-up about Peter Snell, nice to read about how he was a such a warm person, sad that he is gone:

There are also reviews of some of the early speakers there.

I don't think I've ever read or heard stories about his design preferences,

but I could offer my read of his designs based on the reviews and the

physical/electrical design, if you'd like.

Shure, I would really appreciate it. I would be interested to know what were his principles tuning vented enclosures as well as Qtc for closed boxes, woofer selection (high Qt, etc), x-over poins, attention to diffraction and dispersion.

Thank you in advance,

Sebastian
