Guest sfox52
OK, somebody get me straight. I'm replacing the the 13 uf caps in my New large advents with a 10 uf & a 3 uf cap to equal the needed 13uf. Do I wire them in series or in parallel? ( I wish I had a capacitance meter! )
Carlspeak
Parallel. Simply wrap the wires protruding from each end of the lower value cap around the wires of the larger value cap and solder. Then connect and solder the wires of the larger value cap to the connection points in the crossover.

I think I need to add the wirewound resistors to the tweeter circuit, though- it's too hot even in the decreased setting! I'm gonna try 1 ohm 10 watts...
