Guest kevemaher Posted January 11, 2008 Report Share Posted January 11, 2008 I recently re-surrounded my AR-2ax 4-bolt woofers with new surrounds and dust caps I purchased from a reputable vintage supplier on eBay. My in-cabinet FR measurements with an SPL meter shows many bumps below 100Hz, especially at 70 Hz and a -10dB droop between 200 and 400Hz. Could these features be from the new surround?
