JKent
I'm trying to refurbish a KLH Model Eight radio and I need a new on/off switch. It is a rotary, 2-position switch. Has a 1/4" diam shaft. Off is at about 11 o'clock and On is at about 1 o'clock. Can anybody help with this? Thanks.Kent

Thanks.KentHi Kent;I know that a local retail store here in Vancouver carries a very large assortment of volume, treble, balance, bass controls and some rotary switches.Lee's Electronics on Main Street in Vancouver BC Canada.I haven't bought any of late but they even had, Alps, for just one quality brand. Some may be Chinese or Taiwanese now. They also carry the Chinese, built like a tank, AR compatible pots in various wattages and ohms ratings.Radio Shack is gone from Canada and so is the Alps dual 100k centertapped volume control that would have possibly been a nice PAT-4 replacement, about $5.00. JKent
thanks Vern. Too bad Vancouver is such a trek from New Jersey They don't have a website, but they do have an address and phone, so if I get desperate I'll give 'em a buzz. Meanwhile John (the birthday boy) O'Hanlon found one in a shop in Arizona and also a very cheap one online:http://www.allelectronics.com:80/cgi-bin/i...TCH,_DPDT_.htmlSo we'll see..........
