Guest bru Posted November 1, 2006 Report Share Posted November 1, 2006 I have a Realistic Mach Two speaker that has a corner dent from being dropped. is there a way to fix this ? some filler or something to put on it and reshape it to a corner so it doesnt get worse ? would be better if I could get it to look decent.any ideas would be helpful....thanks! Guest driranek Posted June 28, 2007 Report Share Posted June 28, 2007 If they have woodgrain or other vinyl covering, try cutting away the messed up vinyl, remaking the corner with plastic wood (not bondo or spackle since they are to soft), and then cover the corner with vinyl that matches the original. Fabric stores often have stick-on vinyl, but finding some that more-or-less matches might be tough. Up close you'll see the seams in the vinyl but maybe not from a distance.I got some speakers with multiple crunched corners for real cheap. In this case all the original vinyl got removed, all the edges were rounded to match the crunched corners, and the cabinets were sprayed with hammertone enamel for an industrial/retro look.
